#OnThisDay October 1st, 2003. #MichaelJackson attended at a charity event Light The Way for Lupus, an Evening of Love, Light and Laughter to raise funds for Lupus Los Angeles on Wednesday, at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Beverly Hills, California. During the charity event, sponsored by the Lupus Research Institute, Michael made a speech and presented the Medical Visionary Award to his Dr Alan Metzger in recognition for his work to aid Lupus patients.
